# 7.5 Text Warning: How to Edit

## When editing text in your design, you can customize it by changing the font, size, and styles such as bold, italic, or underline using the top text menu.

**What Does the 7.5 Text Warning Mean?**

When saving your design, you may see a warning that says **“Small font size detected”.** This warning appears when any text in your design is smaller than 7.5 pt.

In many cases, this is intentional—such as a disclaimer at the bottom of a flyer—and the warning is simply informational.

**How to Review and Adjust Text Size**

1. When the warning appears, click **“Ok I´ll fix it!”** instead of saving.
2. Select the text you want to review.
3. Check the font size in the top text menu.
4. If needed, increase the font size to 7.5 or larger.

**When You Can’t Edit the Text**

If you’re unable to select or edit a text element:

1. Open the Layers panel.
2. Look for a red lock icon next to the text layer.

A red lock means the layer is locked and cannot be edited by the user.

**What to Do**

- Reach out to your leadership or admin team to request the layer be unlocked.
- In many cases, locked text below 7.5 pt is intentional and should not be modified.

**Saving with the Warning**

If the small text is intentional:

1. Click Save.
2. Select Ignore and Continue.

Your design will save successfully.
