# How to Assign a Manager

## A Manager can "become" users on their team, giving them access limited to the users assigned to their specific team, office, or other defined group. This article covers what Managers can do, how to assign the Manager role, and how Managers can view and act on behalf of their team members.

Managers can:

- Invite and create users
- View user activity
- Become other users
- Reset passwords
- Suspend or remove accounts
- Download analytics for their team

**To assign a User as a Manager**

1. Go to the **Admin Panel** and select the **Users** tab, then **Users**.
2. Use the side filter to find the user you want to assign as a Manager.
3. Open their **Actions** menu and select **Edit**.
4. In the side panel, assign them the **Manager** role.
5. If they also need to review [compliance](https://support.maxadesigns.com/knowledge/make-a-user-compliance-admin?hsLang=en) submissions for their team, assign them as a **Compliance Manager** as well.

**View Your Team Members and Become a User**

To view the members of your team and become one of them, follow these steps:

1. From your **Dashboard**, go to **Account → Team**
2. You will see a list of all your team members
3. To become a user, click on the three dots (⋯) on the right side of the user’s row and select **Become**

**Additional Team Management Options**

From this section, you can also:

- View your team’s designs
- Invite more people to your team
- Access analytics for your team
