How to Use Upload Zones

Upload zones are like placeholders for photos.

Upload zones are a great way to maintain design and layout integrity while allowing users to change photos. Upload zones can also be setup to automatically populate user account photos like headshots or listing photos directly from the MLS.

It is designed to accept only one element at a time, and clipping is enabled automatically, which means the inserted image will stay within the boundaries of the zone.

Steps to create an upload zone:

  1. Add or Select a Photo or Shape. Once the photo or shape is placed to your liking...
  2. Right-click the shape or use the three-dot menu to select “Upload Zone.”
  3. If it's a shape, keep the shape selected, then go to the Upload button in the left panel. Choose a file from our library or import one if you prefer.
Note: Shapes are great if you want the Upload Zone of a photo to be different than the original shape of the photo.

  4. The image or video will automatically fit into the shape you placed.

  • Note: You can change the file inside the upload zone as many times as you like.

To Deactivate the Upload Zone
Right-click the same image again and select “Upload Zone” once more.
The green dot will disappear, indicating it is no longer active.
