# How Do I Add Captions to my Social Media Post?

## You can add a caption to your social media post directly from the Share menu when publishing or scheduling your design.

**Steps to Add a Caption**

1. **Open the Share Menu:** After creating your design, click **Share**.

2. **Choose a Platform:**Select the social media platform where you want to publish your post.

3. **Add Your Caption:** Enter your caption in the text field provided before publishing.

4. Click **Apply** to add the caption to your post.

You can also use the **AI caption feature** to quickly generate engaging captions for your post.

1. Click on the **AI icon**

2. Tell the AI what you want to write (for example: *“a paragraph describing a luxury villa at the beach”*)

3. Click **Submit**
4. The AI will generate a caption that you can edit or use as-is before publishing or scheduling your post. Once you’re happy with the result, click **Apply** to add the caption to your post
