How to Add and Edit Text

The Text panel allows you to add new text, edit existing content, create hyperlinks for digital designs, and use AI to generate or replace text.

Add Text

  1. In the left menu, click Text.
  2. Enter the text you'd like to add.
  3. Click Add Text to place it on your design.

To edit your text, simply double-click the text box in your design and make your changes.

Create Hyperlinks

For digital designs, you can turn text into a clickable hyperlink by adding a URL or email address.

  • When adding a website, be sure to include https://www. at the beginning of the URL (for example, https://www.maxadesigns.com). If you don't include it, the platform will display an error and the link won't be added.
  • You can also add an email address to create a clickable email link.

Use AI to Generate or Replace Text

You can use AI to create new content or replace existing text in your design.

  1. In the Write with AI section, enter a prompt describing the text you'd like to generate.
  2. Click Submit.
  3. Select the text you want to update.
  4. Click Replace to replace the selected text with the AI-generated version.

Tip: The AI tools can also help you improve your writing, adjust the length of your text, or translate it into another language. Simply select a text box and click the star-shaped AI icon in the text formatting toolbar.

You can also copy and paste text from other designs, but please note that if you are copying text from a different canvas dimension, the font size you're copying may not work for the design you're pasting it to. Use the Font size dropdown to adjust accordingly.
