Instead of publishing immediately, you can set the exact date, time, and channel where your design will be posted. **Schedule a Post** 1\. Open the Share window one of two ways: - - From your dashboard, hover over the design, click the three-dot menu, and choose **Share.** - Or open the design in the designer and click **Share** at the top. Scroll down and check the box next to every account you want to post to. If you picked Facebook, choose your page or pages from the **Business page** dropdown. Type a caption under each account. Each one has its own box, so you can write something different for every platform. Click **Go to Calendar** to see your post on the calendar. **![](https://support.maxadesigns.com/hs-fs/hubfs/undefined-Aug-03-2026-02-08-11-9872-PM.png?width=670&height=326&name=undefined-Aug-03-2026-02-08-11-9872-PM.png)**   **Tips:** - You can schedule up to **29 days ahead.** - To reuse a caption, click the copy button under the box, then right click in the next box and choose **Paste.** - Each caption box shows the platform's limit and your current count in the bottom corner. Instagram allows 2,200 characters. Facebook allows far more. **Spaces and punctuation count.** - If a caption goes over the limit, the box turns red and the Schedule Post button greys out.
