# How To Translate Text

## Use the AI Writer to translate text in your design into Spanish, French, Chinese, or Portuguese.

**Steps**

1. Open your design in the editor.
2. Click the text box you want to translate.
3. In the text formatting toolbar, click the **star-shaped AI icon** to open the AI Writer panel.

4. Select the **Translate** option.
5. Choose the language you want.

6. The text will **automatically translate** to you chosen language

**Good to know**

- The AI Writer currently supports translation only into the four languages mentioned above. **Other languages are not supported at this time.**
- Translation happens **per text box** — repeat the steps for each text box you want translated.
